A private villa in Algiers, Algeria, designed while working with Terra Développement (2021). Like the Rouiba villa from the same period, the brief centered on a contemporary family home with a strong indoor-outdoor relationship, this time built around a rear garden and terrace rather than a pool.
The façade is wrapped in adjustable timber louvered shutters across the upper floors, giving residents full control over light and privacy on each balcony while keeping a consistent, warm material language across the building. A rooftop pergola caps the composition, extending the living space to a shaded outdoor terrace at roof level.
The first floor (R+1) is organized around a central hall connecting three bedrooms (24.62 m², 23.48 m², and 25.18 m²), a guest bedroom (12.32 m²), a games room (23.13 m²), and a laundry room, served by two bathrooms and a separate W.C. A wide balcony and loggia (20.62 m² and 18.14 m²) run along the bedroom wing, giving every room direct outdoor access.
Full elevation drawings were produced alongside the floor plans to document the façade composition and louver layout for construction. Modeled in Revit and rendered in Lumion, from concept through detailed architectural drawings.
